What is the OTP hit field?
For this field, you simply need to ask yourself:
Did the price hit the Original Take Profit price before it hit the initial stop loss?
The OTP works independently from the actual trade exit. Here are a few examples:
- Your take profit was set at $90, you closed the trade at $80 and then the price went to the target. OTP will be ticked with YES.
- Your take profit was set at $90, you closed the trade at $80 and then the price went straight to your initial stop loss. OTP will be ticked with NO.
You just need to follow the price action and evaluate if the price would have hit the initial target price before it hit the initial stop loss. That is all.
