Decimals in Edgewonk
The term decimals refers to how many digits you see after the "dot" when entering price inputs.
This is what it means:
100.10 = 2 decimals
100.107 = 3 decimals
100.1079 = 4 decimals
100.10794 = 5 decimals
100.107941 = 6 decimals
You can change the number of decimals your trading journal shows for price inputs by changing the selection in your dropdown menu under Settings > Journal.
In Edgewonk, this is how the different selections change the number of decimals in your trading journal:
Stocks (2 decimals) = Your journal shows 2 decimals
Stocks (3 decimals) = Your journal shows 3 decimals
Spreabetting = Your journal shows 5 decimals
Futures = Your journal shows 6 decimals
Forex = Your journal shows 5 decimals
Crypto = Your journal shows 8 decimals
CFD = Your journal shows 6 decimals
If you select more than one market under Settings, Edgewonk will show the highest decimal number.
Important: Nothing else changes besides the decimal count. For example, if you trade Futures but want to only show 2 decimals, you can simply choose Stocks in the dropdown. Nothing else changes besides the decimal number.
