TradeStation

Please follow the steps outlined below to get the TradeStation trade data that you can then import into your Edgewonk trading journal:

There are 2 ways. The first way should be prefered.

1: Download CSV

Instructions on how to download a CSV file from Tradestation Client Center
1. Log into Tradestation Client Center
2. Go to Accounts
3. Go to Equities Accounts
4. Go to Tax Center (See Screen shot)
5. In the Download Tax Activity Section:
- Select Account
- Select File Format -Microsoft Excel (csv)
- Data Range as you like
- Trades: Exclude Broken/Cancelled Trades
- Securities: Equity and/or Options
Transactions ALL
(6) Click Download

OR

2. Copy TXT

1. Open TradeStation
2. Click on Apps
3. Click on Trade Manager
4. Under Account No, select the Account you want to export the data from
5. Change Status to 'Filled Orders'
6. Select the Date Range you want to export next to the Status dropdown
7. Click on Retrieve Orders
8. Now you have to select and manually add all columns that TradeStation allows you to add and verify they show up in the table. Scroll all the way to the right to select all columns
9. Right-click after you have selected all columns and click copy.

Then paste all info into a .txt (text file) and save it.

Now you are ready to import this data into Edgewonk.

Please double-check that your file has the same columns in the same order as the screenshot below. Only if your format is identical, the import will work.
