Trade Price %
The price% measures the distance between the entry and the exit price and, therefore, shows you how far the price has traveled during the trade duration.
The price% is positive when the exit price is higher than the entry price.
The price% will be negative when the exit price is lower than the entry price.
You find the price% as a separate column in the journal tab or in the Trade Analytics (scroll right).
In the Trade Analytics, we provide the Average Trade Price% and the Sum Trade Price%.
Calculation examples:
- When you buy a stock (or any other instrument) for $100 and you sell the position for $75, the price% shows -25%.
- When the price rises from $100 to $110, the price% shows 10%.
