Futures Multiplier
When you have set up your Edgewonk journal as a Futures journal, you can make use of the multiplier feature.
Set up your whole journal as a Futures journal:
When you want to created a dedicated Futures trading journal in Edgewonk, go to Settings > Journal, and then under Markets and Default Trade Type select Futures. From then on, all of your trades will be classified as Futures trades in your Edgewonk journal.
Change the trade type of individual trades:
Sometimes, traders trade multiple markets and asset classes in one account. If this is the case, you can change the trade type to Futures for individual trades one by one. For that, when you add a new trade in the journal, click on the cog symbol at the top of the trade popup and then select Futures from the dropdown.
Multiplier:
You will then see a new input field called Multiplier in the trade entry popup. The multiplier is futures contract specific and you can edit it for each trade.
The multiplier will multiply the profit that was generated on your trade to calculate the correct profit/loss for that trade if you have turned on automated profit calculation.
